About the Course

The course works exclusively with four ladies over a four-week period.


Is this course for you?

  • If you are tired of diets that are not sustainable, but you would like to lose weight.

  • If you are determined that maintaining a healthy weight needs to be compatible with enjoying food, and freedom from obsessive thoughts regarding your weight and eating.


What will you learn?

You will learn skills that help you enjoy your food, make better nutrition choices, and move towards your weight loss goals. My program is based on the work of Georgie Fear who is an experienced dietician and nutrition coach. Her program is called “Confident Eaters.”


There are four topics and habits you will learn about and practice applying:

  • Eat 3-4 meals per day without snacking

  • Working with your hunger

  • Eating just enough

  • Eat mostly whole-food


The first three habits need to be a solid part of your routine before you focus on what you are eating. However, you are welcome to implement any eating plan you are on as we work on the first three habits.


How it works

Group Zoom call for four Sunday evenings per topic
19:00 - 20:00

In addition to the group calls, participants have one individual, half-hour session with Vanessa, booked within the course dates and individual WhatsApp contact, for the duration of the course if specific application of the habits is needed.


Cost: R1200 for the course.

I appreciated the chance to think my decisions about food through. At Thanksgiving meal which could have been a disaster, I had control over my decisions about what to eat. I was so proud of myself and it was quite a breakthrough for me. That’s a massive amount of behaviour change. The next morning, I was up and about and good to go. I’m encouraged.
